Hooray, I can finally share one of the manicures I've been hiding from you.  I entered this in Konad Addict's Valentine's contest.  There are 24 (!!!) entries, and if you're following Konad Addict (and really, if you aren't, you should be) you can vote for me (or, you know, someone else) here.  I'm #12.

I was going for a manicure that, instead of looking like Valentine's Day, would be something you could wear on Valentine's Day to go out on a date.  I tried to keep it classic and minimal, with enough artsy-ness that my nail polish-loving self wouldn't be bored.

For this mani, I used China Glaze Ruby Pumps for the red nails and Lubu Heels for the black ones.  I then stamped the red nails with the lace/scalloped pattern from Bundle Monster image plate BM20 with Jesse's Girl Blackout.  I added red scrapbooking rhinestones I got at Michael's to the ring fingers and thumbs.  Finally, I sealed everything with a thick coat of Seche Vite.  I particularly like the lit-from-within glowing effect the red rhinestones have.
(These images are, as usual, taken after several days of wear.  Consider this the wear test for this look.  It wears great.)
