Today's nails are in the "Fail" category...

In theory, it was a good idea:  Take a very sheer polish with a green and purple opalescent sheen, layer it over white, and cover it with white butterflies.  The problems?  I used 3 coats of the top color where I should have only used 2, which made the drying time abysmal and led to crinkles in the end result.  In addition, my stamping color was just too sheer, and the butterflies weren't a stark enough white to show up well against the background.  I think it could work, with some modifications, it just didn't this time.

I started out with Sinful Colors' Basecoat, added one coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, and 3 coats of Sinful Colors Let Me Go.  I really should have only used two... Once that was dry I stamped the butterflies from Bundle Monster image plate BM05 with White On, which really wasn't opaque enough... some day I'll give in and get the Konad white special polish.  Topped off with Seche Vite, of course.

Less fail butterflies soon!
