Why hello there.  I haven't seen you in a while.  My nails already look kind of ragged in this picture, and when I took the blue polish off, I had to majorly shorten them, so my next post will feature nubbins!  Bright and colorful nubbins, but nubbins all the same.

Now, since my blog's name is Polka Polish, I figured it was about time to do something with Polka Dots.  Besides, although I love the brightness of the blue polish, it didn't seem like it would play well with stamps.

(Ignore the funky looking dried Matte polish on the Matte Magic lid...)

I started off with my regular Sinful Colors Basecoat, and then applied two coats of ULTA Blue Streak (obtained in a 2/$4 sale) which was easy to work with and very very bright blue.  I topped it with a coat of Seche Vite for better drying time and added shine.  Once that was dry, I dabbed some China Glaze Matte Magic on a piece of plastic and quickly (very quickly!) used the dotting tool to make polka dot pattern on all my nails.  You need to do this fast, because Matte Magic dries pretty quickly, and you need to wipe off the dotting tool every row or so so it doesn't build up a giant nail polish glob on the tip.  And there you go!

More nails (or nubbins) coming soon... it's so much harder to motivate myself to make my nails pretty when I can hardly see them!  Also, thanks to anyone who voted for me in the Bundle Monster contest.  I did not win, but the new plates look awesome and I will buy them as soon as I can afford to.
