Hey look, this used to be a nail polish blog!  It still is, sometimes, although it's a bit hard to paint one's nails while on vacation at the beach... The wind blows the sand everywhere, which makes it hard to get a clean coat of polish on.  I am tempted to do a sand-covered nail, in the style of all the caviar nails going around lately... should I?

In the meantime, I've done a manicure with my favorite beach color ever, Zoya Charla.  She's aaalmost the same color as the ocean on a sunny day.  I wasn't sure if I would like the solid white stamps over the foil-y base color, but I think it ended up looking rather nice.

I used three coats of Zoya Charla as a background for my design.  Then I stamped the hibiscus flower from one of the Essence stampy plates (wouldn't it be helpful if they were numbered?) with Essence Stamp Me! White on each nail.  I decided to go with a single flower on all except the thumbs to let more of the blue sparkly goodness show through.  As usual, I finished it off with a topcoat of NYC Grand Central Station.

Just a few more beach days before I have to head back to the real world...  I hope you have pleasant weekend plans!
