Okay, well, maybe they aren't that spooky... I'm just a sucker for alliteration.  For today's design, I decided to hop in the way-back machine (sort of?) and use images from the original set of Bundle Monster plates.  Most of their designs have improved in their more recent offerings, especially the full-nail designs, but some of the individual images from the original plates are still pretty fabulous and some of my favorites.

I'm actually rather fond of spiders, or at least, certain spiders, so wearing this web-y design on my nails is quite fun.  I'm not totally happy with the execution, but the concept is solid and the little bejeweled spiders on my ring fingers make me happy!  There may yet be another spider-themed manicure this October.

For this design, I started with a layer of Sinful Colors Basecoat (please do remember your basecoat, your nails will thank you!) followed by two coats of Sinful Colors Black on Black.  I stamped the spiderwebs from Bundle Monster Image Plate BM13 on every nail with a medium grey, Pure Ice Kiss Me Here.  Then I stamped overlapping spiderwebs on all fingers but the ring fingers with Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  I finished the design by adding the spiders (also from BM13) in the same white, aligning them so they appeared to be perched on the edge of their webs.  I placed a teardrop shaped rhinestone over the body of each spider for a little extra sparkle and finished everything off with a thick coat of NYC Grand Central Station quick-drying topcoat.

How do you feel about our arachnid friends?  Love, hate, or indifferent?

(P.S. Are we still mad at Sinful Colors?  I haven't heard anything in a long while... did they fix their mistake, can we go back to liking their products yet?)
