Why hello!  I seem to be starting the week on Wednesday again, you know, as you do.  I always mean to start on Monday, but then suddenly Tuesday is disappearing and I don't get my feet back under me until Wednesday.  Barely.

I think it's time for me to go back to counting calories.  I've been maintaining pretty well, but, unfortunately, I'm just maintaining.  I also feel like I need to focus more on building muscle mass, especially building the major muscles (legs!) by using heavy weights.  I discovered this weekend why I've never felt like I'm doing squats properly:  body weight alone is not nearly enough for me.  They work if I stand on one leg, though!  So, time to start trying some new things.  My mom has cut out sugar from her diet for her New Year's Resolution (craziness!) and, thanks to her good influence, I'm trying to at least reduce the sugar in my diet.  Unfortunately, I have quite the sweet tooth! 

Anyway, I'll keep you posted on how it all goes.
