I'm still recovering a little bit from the dreaded period bloat (and its friend, the PMS ice cream bloat...), but I'm pretty happy with the way things have been going.  Doug and I have been running nearly every morning, and doing weights every other day.  I'll have you know that in the last month and a little (since we started the running and weights) I've lost an inch on nearly every measurement!  The last time I measured, I was about 34-26-41, with 23" upper thighs (I have to measure them too, that's where all my extra fat goes!) and today I was 34-25-40, with 22" upper thighs.  Hooray!  I took some "before" pictures at the beginning of our weightlifting and running routine, so perhaps I'll take some progress shots and share them on the blog if I feel really brave.

I've been having fun and keeping busy with my new job... and it's almost Easter, so my church job has been pretty busy, too.  I really ought to wear these amazing purple platform stilettos more often... they were a present from Doug, and they're amazing.  And mostly comfortable!  Unfortunately, they do make by feet look even more clodhopper-esque than usual in photos...
