Oh hey, it's my new dress again.  I hope you don't get too tired of seeing this dress this summer!
Yesterday I spent most of the day cooped up inside caring for my invalid gent.  The spring weather was really gorgeous, though, and I was having a good hairday, so I managed to get out for a few hours to go see some of my friends at the local NATS (National Association of the Teachers of Singing) chapter competition.  It ended up being a lot of fun... got to hear some great singing, Doug's cousin won a couple categories, and I got to see a bunch of school friends I haven't seen in a while.

I've noticed a few more things about this dress that I'd like to alter now that I've worn it a little more... I think I need to take up the shoulder seams in the next version, it still gapes a little at the chest.  And I may just redo the zipper... it's a bit pathetic at the moment.  But it's still such a fun twirly dress, and I got lots of compliments when I went out in it.  And this is with two petticoats under... Poof!
