If I was really good at this blogging stuff, I'd have had these nails up on July 3rd, completely coated in all possible relevant search terms to bring in hordes of holiday traffic as women attempted to figure out what to do with their nails for Independence Day.

That's just not me, though, so I'm posting them now.  Oh well.

I can't do skittles designs without coming up with some sort of internal organization, so here's the rundown of how I put this together:

Base Colors
Thumbs and ring fingers were prepped with three thin coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  For my left hand, I painted my index finger and pinky with ULTA Blue Streak and my middle finger with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rapid Red.  For the right hand, I reversed the red and blue nails.

Decoration
Thumbs and ring fingers are stamped with Rapid Red and Blue Streak using the firework-ish design from Bundle Monster Image Plate BM02.
Index fingers are stamped with the chevron design from BM-201 and Snow Me White.
Middle fingers have one coat of OPI Lights of the Emerald City.
Pinkies have the stars from BM14 stamped with Snow Me White.
...and everything has a coat of NYC Grand Central Station for topcoat.

Phew!  A bit complicated, but I think the payoff was worth it.  To my American readers, did you sport patriotic nail art for the 4th?
