Last week, I picked up this adorably sheer vintage blouse  for just a few dollars at a local thrift shop.  I shared a picture on Instagram as soon as I brought it home, because I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to wear it.  Janey of Atomic Redhead reminded me about sheer blouses with colored slips (of course!) so I had to give it a try.

Unfortunately, I don't have any colored slips, but I do have a yellow camisole, so I decided to give that a go.  The back is a bit sheer (bras and camisoles, a tricky combo) but I love the look in the front.  The colors remind me of lemons and limes, and the citrus trees that are so plentiful in California.  I will definitely miss walking out the back door to pick fresh lemons when I move to Massachusetts!
