I think (I hope!) that winter is nearly over-ish here.  Don't get me wrong, I love it... but if the weather keeps having these mood swings from 55 and raining to 20 and snowing, I will be most miffed and confused.  Anyway, I braved the cold for a few seconds in the pretty snow for today's outfit pictures, which is the reason for my completely unenthused facial expression.  I want to go back in!

The oak leaf brooch is a new (thrift) acquisition.  My parents work with oak trees, and I spent a lot of my childhood accompanying them around the forest, so anything oak or acorn themed is always a favorite of mine.  I've always wanted one of these skeletonized leaf brooches, but they're usually quite pricey when you find them new.  I saw this one at Savers for $5 and promptly snapped it up... I just know I'll be wearing it often!
I also finally mended a few moth nibbles in this wool and cashmere sweater, and I'm kicking myself for not doing so earlier... it's amazingly warm and cozy, and I just want to live in it for the remainder of the winter.
