I'm doing my usual trick of working on a blog post while sitting in a coffee shop, but I didn't have a chance to take decent pictures on Sunday, so I thought I'd take a few pictures and write up a post instead of just sitting and staring at my computer screen.

As I mentioned in my last few posts, I recently was employed by a certain company which, among other things, has a dress code which stipulates that employees can't wear nail polish.  So, for the moment, nail polish posts are going to be put on a sort of indefinite hold.  I might post special occasion looks, but I'll no longer be sporting colorful nails on a daily basis.

Moreover, my hands are taking quite a beating from my new work routine.  Aside from being dry, they've managed to accumulate a vast collection of scrapes and scratches from running into corners, doors, shelves, and tables.

So that's where that stands.  All the other content on my blog will continue as it has been going, and hopefully I'll be able to get back to my Sunday outfit photography soon.  And just so there's some eye-candy in this post, I present to you the rainbow-colored stack of  Bakelite I'm wearing in defiance of today's grey skies.

Nail poish: None
Bakelite: Lavendar and lime from 57th Street Antiques, Orange from Grandma, and the rest thrifted.
