Hello, hello! I should have posted this yesterday, but yesterday looked like this:
I know, I know, excuses… Today is the big exciting Doug recital day (eeks!) & I’m taking a few minutes out of my busy cake-making schedule to update the blog. Don’t you feel loved? đ
Current Weight: 140 lbs
At Last Weigh-in: 139.6 lbs
Starting Weight: 144 lbs
Weight Loss to Date: 4 lbs
This weight loss thing is NOT going so hot. Ideally, even at a moderate pace I should be able to knock off 4lbs a month and be down to my goal weight by Christmas at the latest… even with all of the evil holiday food around. Unfortunately, I seem to be pretty solidly stuck at the 140 mark, or at least I have been for the last month or so. I’ve been having a hard time tracking my calorie consumption recently, and even though I’m aware that I need to be eating half of what Doug eats, it is still difficult to limit myself, especially when I feel hungry! I’ve also had a hard time getting myself to exercise regularly. I have to do my workouts in my apartment, which I can manage… but I really need to get myself doing cardio again regularly and I live on the second floor, which limits my indoor cardio hours. Oh, and the convenient nearby bike path? Closed for construction again.
Can anyone give me a push here? How do you stay motivated? Are any of you on MyFitnessPal to poke me into tracking my calories? Let me know in the comments… :/
