NOTD: Copper Cougar

Happy Monday, dear readers.  I hope this week treats you nicely!
I suppose technically these are leopard spots, as cougars are differently spotted, if at all… ah, fine points.

Doug bought me two of the polishes from the Essie Mirror Metallics collection as a Thank You gift for my help with his recital… and they’re fabulous!  And really great for stamping.  I may need to go to the store and try to find the gold, it may finally end my quest for a functional gold stamping polish!  And just in time for the holidays, too.

I started with two thick coats/three thin coats (it varied) of Wet n Wild Cougar Attack from last year’s Halloween collection.  I’m not sure why it took me almost a year to actually use this polish… it’s gorgeous, and looks much better on my skin tone than I expected!  I stamped it with the leopard spots from Bundle Monster Image Plate BM-221… I’m not normally one for animal prints, but it seemed appropriate.  I always love how stamped images look over glitter polishes, too… so multidimensional!  The stamping polish was Essie Penny Talk, a really pretty peachy copper color, and just perfect for stamping.  Top coat of NYC Grand Central Station, as usual.
