NOTD: Musical Nails

Woah, posting backlog.  Time to play catch-up!
This evening (or anyway, it’s this evening as I am typing this) I have for you some more nail art with my newly won goodies.  In this case, I thought I’d try out the stamping plate with the sheet music image:

I think I like it.  Obviously, I took these photos after wearing the design for several days, so I had some new growth & tip wear.  And, as I’ve mentioned before, the knockoff plates are not quite as clean and well-etched as I might like, so I felt like some of the lines were uneven… anyway, I’ll have to give it another go in the future.

For this design, I started with two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White, which is a pretty good white polish but it’s still white, so application is a bit dodgy.  I stamped the music note image from not-Konad image plate m73, carefully avoiding the keyboard portion of the image, with Sinful Colors Black on Black.  As usual, I finished up with a coat of NYC quick-dry topcoat.

Even though the image isn’t as clean & pretty as I’d like, a certain nerdy part of me is very very happy to have a sheet music stamp.  I think I’ll be getting plenty more use out of this image!
