Hello from the lake! Yes, you heard right… I’ve flown the coop for summer vacation. But we do have internet up her in the Northwoods, so I’ll be trying to get through some of my blog photo backlog.
Today’s outfit is one of the newest additions to my wardrobe and a huge splurge for a person on a tight budget… a skirt from Pin Up Girl Clothing’s Mary Blair collection. I had set aside money to purchase a piece from the collection but, of course, the pieces I liked best sold out instantly in my size. I learned that some styles would be restocked, though, so the second the commuter print skirt reappeared I pounced on it.

I’m completely in love with the skirt and am happy to own a little bit of this amazing collection. For the future, though, I’ll definitely stick to stalking the online yard sales for pieces I might like…
