I got dressed for church as usual. Put on my makeup, picked a hat, made my coffee, and headed out. I adjusted my hat in a mirror at church and thought it didn’t look quite right, but couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Sang my service, left, went to wait for Doug… I took a selfie while I was standing around and posted it to Instagram wondering if I needed a different hairdo for my hat. Something was definitely off, but I still couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Nobody said anything.
Uh… nothing wrong with the hairdo. Just the complete and total lack of eyeliner and mascara. Because apparently, when I went to put on my makeup in the morning in a distracted and insufficiently caffeinated daze, I forgot to go back and finish my eyeliner and mascara.
