For some reason, blogging has been a bit tricky of late. The class that was taking up all my time is done (yay!) so I’m back to working and a slightly more regular schedule… but spending three months firmly attached to the best and brightest new web technologies makes Google’s neglected blogger service look really awful. I’m finding that the action of attempting to write a blog post is enough of a hassle that I keep putting it off, and I’m not super happy with my site/page layout either. So I’m tossing around the idea of moving the whole shebang to another platform that will make me less grumpy. Thoughts?

I haven’t really had a chance to get my bearings post-class either, I spent the last week and the week after redoing one of the bedrooms in our house and then played host to my parents for a week… Now I need to re-establish equilibrium and a new schedule. The weather has taken a definite turn for the summery, too, so I have to remember how to dress myself when it’s warm! This is my go-to sort of separates outfit… solid blouse and loud shirt. I like these sheer mid-century blouses when the weather gets really hot and sticky because they keep the sun off my skin a bit while still allowing breeze through.
