Snow, snow, snow…

I took these photos last weekend, when it was snowing. It isn’t snowing today, and I hope it stays not-snowing until next winter! It’s very pretty, but it’s also cold and damp and I’m ready for it to be done.

But… as long as it is snowing, I’ve got to find a way to deal with it and look presentable while I wait for warmer weather.

I’ve been living in my Royal Vintage Shoes Aspen booties this winter, which are helping me feel a little more presentable and less like a schlub when it’s snowy and slushy.

I haven’t been wearing my snazziest 50s princess coat as much this winter, preferring the more blanket-like 40s swing coats I’ve acquired, but it seemed like it was due for an outing. My favorite part of it is the pointed velvet collar, which can be left down for an elegant finish or folded up for an Evil Queen look.
